Continuous total sulfur by catalytic combustion and UV fluorescence.
An industrial online total sulfur analyzer for continuous process and product-quality monitoring. A quantitative six-port valve introduces the sample into a catalyst-filled combustion tube above 1000 °C, sulfur compounds oxidise to SO₂, a membrane dryer removes moisture, and the SO₂ is measured by UV fluorescence.
