The challenge
Cracking furnaces run at extreme temperature with feed and dilution-steam ratios that have to track tightly. Drift for even a few minutes changes product yield and can coke the tubes.
Our solution
Dyna-Flo sliding-stem control valves regulate furnace feed and dilution steam with trim built for the pressure drop across quench and transfer-line systems, while Farris Series 3800 pilot-operated valves protect the quench tower and downstream vessels against the large vapor volumes a furnace trip releases.
Why it works

The challenge

Dyna-Flo rotary valves in severe-service trim resist erosive and corrosive media in the extraction and distillation columns, while EST's G-Series tube testers and Hydra-Loc sleeving keep the associated heat exchangers leak-tight between inspection intervals.
Why it works
Hydraulic tube sleeving conforms to the tube's actual corrosion or erosion contour rather than applying a generic patch, recovering service life without a full retube.

The challenge
Reactor feed and extruder pressure both need fine, stable control, because polymer consistency depends on it, while the media itself is often abrasive or prone to fouling valve trim.

Dyna-Flo's integral actuator valves give a compact, fast-responding dump-valve solution for reactor feed and discharge, engineered for tight shutoff on space-constrained skids.
Why it works
